Nomination at Bucharest Architecture Bienalle; Nomination for Architext awards
The relationship with the public space derives from the introverted character of the house. Extreme openness to the exterior translates into the treatment of the façade openings as a vertical slit grid throughout the building. The relationship with Şerban Vodă street is complex through the sequencing of the plans that create the urban image. The forefront of the fence - an opaque horizontal element - is dominated by the second plan of the high-rise facade. The waves of earth clothed in the lawn that covers the garage eclipse the yard while becoming relief and garden.
